In December’s chill, I find my heart,

Lonely whispers from worlds apart.

The snow falls soft, like fleeting dreams,

As the winter moon silently gleams.

In December’s arms, I weep and sleep.

2. دسمبر کی غزل (Urdu)

دسمبر کی ہوائیں، دل میں ادھورے خواب,

تنہائی کی گلیوں میں، ملتے ہیں ہم شام.

برف کی ہلکی دھار، جیسے گزرے لمحے,

چاندنی کی چمک، دل کی خاموشی میں سمے.

راتیں لمبی، خاموشی کا گزرنا,

دسمبر کی بانہوں میں، رونا اور سونا.

پھر بھی ان سردیوں میں، محبت کا اجالا,

وقت کی گرفت میں، دل کا سکون پالا.

سال تمام، لیکن ہم ابھی تک ہیں کھڑے,

دسمبر کی روشنی میں، ہم ساتھ ہیں، یہ وعدے.

لمحات تو گزرتے ہیں، مگر یادیں باقی رہتی ہیں,

دسمبر کی سردی میں، محبت ہمیشہ رہتی ہے.

दिसंबर की सर्द हवाएँ, दिल में बसी हुई हैं यादें,

अजनबी रास्तों पर चलते हैं हम, एक उम्मीद की छांव में.

बर्फ़ की सफ़ेद चादर, जैसे खोए हुए ख्वाब,

चाँद की चुप्पी में, बसी है कुछ अलग सी बात.

रातें लंबी, खामोशी का आलम,

दिसंबर की बाहों में, आँखों में ग़म और दिल में चैन.

फिर भी इन सर्दियों में, मिलती है एक नई रोशनी,

समय के साथ दिल में सुकून और एक उमंग.

साल ख़त्म हो गया, पर हम अभी तक खड़े हैं,

वक़्त बीत जाता है, लेकिन यादें बनी रहती हैं,
