جو وعدے کیے تھے وہ خاک بن گئے،

ہر یاد میں تیرا چہرہ دکھائی دے،
پر فاصلہ ہر بار بڑھتا جائے۔
امید ہے کہ ایک دن تو واپس آئے گا،
پر دل جانتا ہے، تُو بہت دور جائے گا۔

کاش وقت کو پلٹ سکوں،
اس لمحے میں جب تیرا دل میرا تھا۔

موسم گزر جائیں گے، وقت بھی اڑ جائے گا،
پر تیرے آخری الوداع کو دل یاد رکھے گا۔
روح کی گہرائیوں میں تیری یاد جلے گی،
محبت کی آگ جو کبھی لوٹ نہ سکے گی۔
